If you guys are planning to upgrade your old Windows XP but
Windows 7 or 8 is too expensive then you still have other options. You can go
for the Office 2010 Pro. Since this software was released almost 3 years ago
the price for this package has gone down considerably. But the functionality
you see in Windows 7 or 8 is the same.
Basically the functions that the 7 and 8 have right now were
first released on Office 2010 Pro. So the only difference you can see is the
user interface and the design theme, especially for the 8. The 2010 still has MS Word, MS Excel, MS
PowerPoint, MS OneNote, MS Exchange and many more.
I also gone through the same thing you guys are going
through right now about a year ago, that was before 8 were released. I wanted
to upgrade my ailing XP with a newer version, but I was a little bit strapped
for cash.
So I researched a little bit and I found out that the Office
2010 Pro can be downloaded online, that saves a couple of dollars on delivery
and the best part of it is there are OEM sellers out there that sell OEM
versions of the official software for half the price.
I found a site called Software Speedy and they sell original
and OEM versions of the Office 2010, I got the OEM version and it works
perfect. Everything works and it still updates when the original software
updates.
So if you want upgrade your Office and you don’t want to
spend a lot of money on it, just go for the Office 2010 Pro download and buy
the OEM version of the product key. That way you save a lot of money and still
get the same functionality that the newer versions have.
